Our Mission
Trivia nights are one of the best ways to bring people together — whether it's regulars at a neighborhood bar, coworkers at a team offsite, or students reviewing for an exam. But running trivia has always been harder than it should be: stacks of paper, manual scoring, awkward pauses while the host tallies results.
TriviaTies exists to fix that. We built a platform that handles the logistics — real-time play, instant scoring, projector displays, question libraries — so hosts can focus on what matters: creating a great experience.

TriviaTies is a product of The API Guys LLC, a software company focused on building tools for live events and audience engagement. We're a small team that cares deeply about craft, performance, and getting out of the host's way.
Built for Real Hosts
Every feature in TriviaTies was designed with working trivia hosts in mind. We've watched hosts juggle paper answer sheets, struggle with projector setups, and spend hours grading after events. We built the tool we wished existed — and we keep improving it based on how people actually use it.
